The perfect dome-style design for weekend camping, the Vango Tay 200 is our adventure-style tent for sleeping up to two people, with a low weight of just 3.1kg. The Protex Polyester flysheet has a waterproof hydrostatic head of 3000mm, which is more than ideal for the UK climate, providing a lightweight but weather-resistant structure. It pitches the inner first, and then the waterproof flysheet attaches to the top of the dome, with an additional gothic arch pole for the front porch area.
Further to this, Vango have added their Nightfall inner to the Tay 200, to increase the darkness during late evenings, and early mornings, which should help for a better night’s sleep.

Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. | Hydrostatic Head (mm) | 3000 DetailsHydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher.
